Conclusion - Staying at a good hotel in Edinburgh with parking
Of the luxury hotels in Edinburgh in the city centre, the Howard, the Edinburgh Residence and the Bonham all offer valuable free of charge parking. All three hotels received very good reviews from previous guests and all three are within easy walking distance of the city centre.
Whilst they are expensive hotels, it is worth weighing up the cost of the hotel accommodation against potential parking charges. The Prestonfield Hotel is also a good option, particularly if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but bear in mind that it is not within easy walking distance of the centre.
