Luxury rooms and suites at the Sheraton Hotel

The Sheraton Hotel has a total of 260 rooms and suites with prices ranging from £85 to £365. The rooms are some of the most spacious in any luxury hotel in Edinburgh City Centre and are well furnished with double glazed windows.

The room decor is similar from room to room and resembles that of standard Sheraton Hotels around the world but the comfort is certainly that of a five star hotel.

Most rooms at the Sheraton Grand overlook the surrounding office buildings or the car park at the back and as a consequence the views are not very nice. Most of the suites and some of the other hotel rooms at the top floors look out towards the south side of Edinburgh Castle rising high above the office buildings.

The classic hotel rooms at the Sheraton have all the modern facilities of a luxury hotel including air conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar, trouser press and ironing facilities, telephone, Internet access, bathrobes, hair dryer, room safe. The suites are more luxurious with a separate sitting room with views of the castle.

The location of the Sheraton hotel in Edinburgh's West End makes it close to a local whisky distillery. This means that opening the windows in some of the rooms might occasionally let a malty smell in -- not an unpleasant smell, though.
