You can get from Paris to London Victoria (or London to Paris) by taking the regular Eurolines coaches operated by National Express UK.
How long does it take to get from London to Paris by bus?
It takes between 8 hours and 10 hours to get from London to Paris on a direct bus depending on the departure chosen. On the return Paris to London route it takes between 6 hours 30 minutes to 8 hours fifteen minutes. Some of the departures go via Charles De Gaulle airport which are the ones that take slightly longer.

How much does it cost to get from Paris to London with Eurolines?
We cross checked several dates on different days of the week and the cheapest direct London-Paris coach ticket we could find was £25 for a single ticket and £35 for a return ticket.

Cheapest way to get from London to Paris France?
You can get from London to Paris on the fast Eurostar train (the most popular option) or by flying as an alternative. However, travelling by Eurolines National Express coach is the cheapest way of getting from London to Paris although it does take longer. It is also less harmful to the environment than taking a plane.
- A non flexible train ticket on the Eurostar costs between around £69 to over £300 for a return ticket and the journey takes between 2 hours 15 minutes to 2 hours 25 minutes. The cheapest tickets were for journeys booked well in advance.
- The cost of a flight to Paris varies widely but you can expect to pay between £100 and £200 pounds on short notice. Although it is only a short flight, you also have the hassle and cost of getting to and from the airport..
- Although the journey by coach takes the longest, there is free WiFi on board and you can watch DVDs.

There are usually five or six buses connecting Paris to London daily, including on weekends.
First coaches
The first coach leaves London at 08:00 in the morning and arrives at the Eurolines terminal at Paris Gallieni at 16:30 in the afternoon.
Last coaches
The last bus leaves at 23:00 in the evening, arriving at Paris Gallieni at 07:45 in the morning.
Night coaches
There are usually three overnight buses to Paris every day, one which leaves London Victoria at 21:30, arriving in Paris at 07:30; one which leaves at 22:00 also arriving at 07:30; and a 22:30 departure which gets in at 07:45.

There are normally up to five or six coach departures from Paris to London every day running regularly from the morning to the evening.
First coaches
The first direct bus leaves Paris Gallieni at 10.00 in the morning and arrives into Victoria Coach Station at 17:45 in the afternoon.
Last coaches
The last bus leaves Paris at 23:00, reaching London at 06:30 in the morning.
Night coaches
There are three overnight coaches from Paris to London, the first night coach leaves at 21:30 and gets into London at 06:00; the second leaves at 22:00 and arrives at 06:15; and the third night bus leaves at 23:00 and arrives in London at 06:30 in the morning.

How long does it take to get from London Victoria to Paris Gallieni by coach?
The journey takes between 8 and 10 hours depending on which departure is chosen. Some buses stop at Charles de Gaulle airport on the way.
How much does the coach ticket from London to Paris cost?
- Single tickets were priced at between £25 and £66 on the dates we looked at.
- The price of a return ticket between London and Paris was between £38 and £72.50.
- There is a downloadable timetable on the Eurolines site which quotes 'on the day' tickets at £46 single/£65 return and advance tickets at £28 single/£38 return including a £3 booking fee however this was not always reflected when going through the actual booking process as Eurolines states on its price guide that actual prices can differ 'during periods of exceptional demand'.
- For some dates we looked at it was actually cheaper on some departures to book a return ticket than a single ticket.
- The Eurolines pass, which costs from 175 euros for under 26 and 205 euros for an adult for 15 days in low season, can be used on the London to Paris coach route.

Other bus fares details
- There were NO National Express funfare tickets, their lowest priced online tickets, available on any dates for this route as it is not applicable for any of the London - Europe routes.
- If you live outside of London there are £15 single or return connecting journeys with National Express, this price is automatically applied if you book a through ticket.
- If you are flexible with your times then there are usually some cheaper departures every day.
- There is a booking fee of £3.00 per person plus a £1 charge for all credit card bookings.
- There are also various fees to get hold of your ticket including £0.50 to collect it in person, £1 to have it posted and £.50 to have it sent to your mobile phone - the only method which is free is if you print your E-ticket yourself.
- Discounts are available for over sixties (although not the same 50 percent as on a National Express ticket).
- The National Express Coachcard is not valid on Eurolines services.
As the cheapest tickets are limited, you should book well in advance for travel at peak times such as bank holidays, half-term, Christmas holidays and the Easter holidays.
Note: some departures use the Eurotunnel and other use the ferry crossing to France.
